My impromptu Late Night show

I’m hosting my first VR masterclass today on vlogging in VR. If you don’t know where that comes from, check out this video by a Youtube sensation:

Casey is my idol

VRlogging is kinda like #AnimojiKaraoke but for your whole body. You record yourself and friends in a virtual world and you have fun with it. The class is hosted in AltspaceVR, our creative playground. Basically, we hook you up with a virtual video camera that you can grab and place in mid-air. Your monitor shows a live feed from the camera and you record your screen to create a video.

Here are a couple of things you need to do to get started:

1. Configure AltspaceVR for Streaming or Recording

2. Create and join your very own private event (requires login)

3. Press the secret comboctrl-alt-n to toggle the VR Camera on or off

4. Record video using screen capture software (we recommend OBS)
